Soroti Hospital receives fistula treatment kits

The module is expected to help at least a total of 200 fistula patient across the Teso sub-region. The Association for Rehabilitation and Re-Orientation of Women for Development (TERREWODE) east-north office Soroti, has donated a fistula repair module to Soroti Regional Referral Hospital.

The repair module containing medication drugs and equipment donated by Direct Relief International was on Thursday delivered to the hospital by David Amudu the executive body member and Stella Apio, the east-north manager TERREWODE. Amudu said it is to help the fistula patients who have difficulty in accessing medication given the fact that there are many young women in Teso who are silently suffering with the fistula. According to Amudu, the module is expected to help at least a total of 200 fistula patient across the Teso sub-region.
